Dr Nikki Curthoys has more than 15 years experience teaching biology, including at the University of Sydney, the University of New South Wales, and the University of Wollongong - where she has worked as a tutor, demonstrator and lecturer since 2017. Nikki has been awarded for her teaching, and works with students across many programs - she even teaches biology to high school biology teachers!

Nikki received her Bachelor of Science in Biology (Honours Class I) from Sydney University (2002), her PhD in Cell Biology from the University of New South Wales (2011), and then worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in Molecular Biophysics at the University of Maine (USA) (2011 - 2016).
